Bio
Elisabetta Gonzo and Alessandro Vicari, from 1992 till 2003, have shared the studio EG+AV Architects Associates. Now they cooperate at distance: Elisabetta in Milan with her Studio EG+, she holds the chair of Design at the University Accademia di Belle Arti of Roma and has taught project at the Isitituto Europeo di Design. Alessandro in Paris with the Studio +AV, he teaches at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et Design in Orléans and at the Strate Collège of Sèvres.
Their works have seen the birth of public architecture, such us the Island Cemetery in Comacchio (Andil 2000 Award). They have invented products for several societies such us R.S.V.P. and Tonelli design. Their path also takes into consideration the development of limited series for: Galleria Luisa delle Piane, Edizioni Fatto ad Arte, Edizioni Galleria Colombari, San Patrignano, Artcodif.
They have collaborated with the editing of Dictionnaire d’Architecture Moderne et Contemporaine (IFA-Hazan, 1996) and they have published their works on magazines and catalogues. Some of their projects are part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
