Bio

Viola Tonucci graduated from the Libro di Urbino High School and obtained a specialist diploma from the European Institute of Design in Milan in the jewelery section through a competition. She then participates in the TAM sculpture and jewelery course, chaired by Arnaldo Pomodoro and directed by Eliseo Mattiacci, and concludes an internship at the Branco architecture and furniture studio, Milan.

She collaborates as designer for some jewellery companies in Milan among which Anaconda.
She works since 2003 in the furnishing branch as designer becoming partner of Tonuccidesign in Pesaro.
She designs for Italian and foreign companies such as Manifestodesign, Estel Group, Casanova, Tonelli Design etc. working with professionals and important personalities.
She participates in collective exhibitions in the jewellery and design branch receiving some awards and nominations such as a honorific reference at the Young & Design.

Some of her pieces are chosen to set up important places in the public domain such as the lounge of the MOMA Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, USA.
