Bio
Silvana Angeletti and Daniele Ruzza, partners in life and business, have both been industrial design and design consultants since 1994. Graduated in industrial design at the I.S.I.A in Rome, they have embarked on a path of experimentation through various research areas.
Their process is marked by numerous design competitions and collaborations with some of the most important Italian and foreign industrial realities. Awarded for their leading role, they have been at the center of projects in the sectors of bathroom furniture, lighting, furniture, furnishing accessories and tableware. By exhibiting some of their products at the permanent exhibition of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum.
Angeletti Ruzza design’s path evolves when they take on the role of artistic directors for Gsi, from 2002 to 2006, Azzurra, from 2007 to 2014, Brilliant and My home collection of the Alivar group, from 2015 to 2018. Later becoming creative directors of Globo, Kalon and Bottega intertwining.
Also known in the academic world for having taught Industrial Design at the IED in Rome, from 2010 to 2014 and at the University of Ascoli Piceno from 2002 to 2014.
Angeletti Ruzza have collaborated with numerous Italian industrial companies in the furniture sectors such as: Alivar, Bottega Intreccio, Brilliant, DAA, Emu, My Home Collection, Roche Bobois, Rubinacci, Poltrona Frau, Tonelli design, Nemo, Oluce, Colombo Design, Faber, Hotpoint/Indesit Company, Irsap, Kalon, Azzurra Ceramica, Flaminia, F.lli Fantini, Gedy, Globo, Graff, Teuco), creating essential and functional products.
Angeletti Ruzza boast no.6 selections in the ADI Design Index and no.2 recommendations for the Compasso d’Oro, no.2 Archiproducts Awards. No.1 Wallpaper Design Award (Bands mirror for Tonelli design in 2020), no.2 Design Plus, no.3 nominations for the Designpreis, no.3 Good Design Awards, no.2 Red Dot Awards and no.2 German Design Awards.
